Join the mum-and-daughter academic duo Dr Esmé Louise James (Kinky History) and Dr Susan James for SexTistics, the new documentary series pulling back to sheets to find out what really happens in our bedrooms.
SexTistics is a cheeky, data-driven deep dive into modern sex lives — where numbers meet naughty, and nothing is off-limits. Combining their respective knowledge of mathematics and human sexual history, Susan and Esmé are on a mission to explore our intimate life, helping to erase the taboo which still exists around such important information.
Built on survey responses from more than 11,000 people worldwide, with questions crowdsourced directly from Esmé’s audience, SexTistics answers what people actually want to know. Each episode unpacks a different theme — from kinks to consent, marriage to masturbation — challenging taboos, busting myths, and showing that sex is messy, funny, vulnerable, and deeply human.
